Toddlers

18 Months - 3 Years

Big Adventures for Growing Minds

Our toddler classroom is a busy, joyful place where curiosity leads the way! Through hands-on play, creative activities, movement, music, stories, and plenty of opportunities to explore, toddlers are encouraged to build independence, develop new skills, and discover just how much they can do.

At Treehouse, every little discovery is another opportunity to grow.

Toddlers are discovering just how much they can do on their own!

Our teachers encourage children to make simple choices, communicate their wants and needs, participate in classroom routines, practice age-appropriate self-help skills, and take on new challenges with confidence.

From cleaning up after an activity to learning to wash their hands and attempting something new independently, we celebrate the everyday accomplishments that help children proudly say, “I did it!”

Encouraging Growing Independence

The toddler years bring an incredible amount of growth in language, communication, and social-emotional development.

Through conversations, songs, stories, dramatic play, and everyday interactions, our teachers help children expand their vocabulary and learn new ways to express their wants, needs, thoughts, and feelings.

As toddlers begin forming their first friendships, teachers gently guide them through important skills like sharing, taking turns, cooperating, recognizing emotions, and learning how to be part of a classroom community.

Growing Words, Friendships & Big Feelings

The toddler years are filled with exciting changes, new discoveries, and plenty of “I can do it!” moments. At The Treehouse Preschool, we create an environment where toddlers have the freedom to explore their growing independence while knowing caring teachers are always nearby to encourage and support them.

Through hands-on learning, imaginative play, movement, sensory experiences, stories, music, art, and everyday interactions with friends, children develop important language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional skills.

Our goal is to give every toddler the strong roots they need to confidently explore, discover, and grow.

Big Curiosity for Growing Little Minds

For toddlers, play is serious learning.

Our classrooms provide plenty of opportunities to touch, build, create, move, experiment, and explore. Art projects, sensory experiences, blocks, puzzles, music, imaginative play, stories, and simple STEAM activities introduce new concepts in ways that feel natural and exciting.

By following their curiosity, children begin developing early problem-solving skills, creativity, concentration, and an excitement for discovering how the world around them works.
